Vİtalİ Hakko
Creative Industries Library
Since its establishment, Vakko has viewed fashion and art as an inseparable whole, hosting processes in Turkey where fashion comes together with art and creative disciplines, adding value to each other. Vakko has pioneered many firsts not only in the fashion world but also in the art world.
The Vitali Hakko Creative Industries Library, founded for the first time by a fashion brand, was established in 2011 by Vakko Chairman Cem Hakko in memory of Vakko's founder Vitali Hakko, inspired by his passion for art, books, and education, with the goal of keeping his name alive for generations.
The Vitali Hakko Creative Industries Library opened Turkey's doors to the world and the world's doors to Turkey through the universal language of art. Originally established within the award-winning Vakko Nakkaştepe Fashion Center, the Vitali Hakko Creative Industries Library moved to the Atatürk Cultural Center, one of the most important cultural and artistic landmarks in Turkey established by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, on its 10th anniversary.
As Turkey's most up-to-date and comprehensive art library open to public use, the Vitali Hakko Creative Industries Library opens new horizons for academics, university students, artists, art enthusiasts, and tourists visiting Turkey from various countries, with its 15,000 books including special editions from the world's most prestigious publishers and exclusively signed publications, along with its continuously updated print, digital, and visual archives.
